Exports in Central Asia
In 2023, shipments abroad of tubes, pipes and hoses of vulcanized rubber decreased by X% to X tons for the first time since 2019, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Over the period under review, exports, however, posted a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2022 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons, and then declined sharply in the following year.
In value terms, rubber tube and pipe exports dropped remarkably to $X in 2023. In general, exports, however, showed a prominent increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2022 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X, and then shrank markedly in the following year.
Exports by Country
Kazakhstan (X tons) and Kyrgyzstan (X tons) dominates exports structure, together generating X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Uzbekistan (X tons), committing an X% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2023, the biggest increases were recorded for Uzbekistan (with a CAGR of X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) remains the largest rubber tube and pipe supplier in Central Asia, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Kyrgyzstan ($X), with a X% share of total exports.

Imports in Central Asia
For the third consecutive year, Central Asia recorded growth in supplies from abroad of tubes, pipes and hoses of vulcanized rubber, which increased by X% to X tons in 2023. Over the period under review, imports showed a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2023 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, rubber tube and pipe imports totaled $X in 2023. Overall, imports recorded a strong expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of import peaked in 2023 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.
Imports by Country
Kazakhstan represented the key importing country with an import of around X tons, which accounted for X% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Uzbekistan (X tons), achieving a X% share of total imports. Kyrgyzstan (X tons), Tajikistan (X tons) and Mongolia (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to rubber tube and pipe imports into Kazakhstan stood at X%. At the same time, Uzbekistan (X%), Tajikistan (X%), Kyrgyzstan (X%) and Mongolia (X%) displayed positive paces of growth.
