Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tonnes in 2020, and then fell markedly in the following year.
In value terms, titanium imports contracted dramatically to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a resilient increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by X%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2016 to 2021, the growth imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Kazakhstan (X tonnes) represented the major importer of titanium sponge, powders, ingots and slabs in Central Asia, constituting X% of total import.
