In 2022, shipments abroad of stamps for use in the hand decreased by X% to X units, falling for the second consecutive year after three years of growth. Overall, exports, however, showed significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X units in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Kazakhstan was also the fastest-growing in terms of the stamps for use in the hand exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022. Uzbekistan experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. Tajikistan (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Tajikistan (X p.p.) and Uzbekistan (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of Kazakhstan (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.

Overall, imports continue to indicate a notable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, hand stamp imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. In general, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
