After three years of decline, shipments abroad of single loudspeakers (in enclosure) increased by 28% to X units in 2021. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a prominent increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when exports increased by 211%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X units. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, loudspeaker exports declined to $X in 2021. In general, exports, however, recorded a slight slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 403%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. Kazakhstan prevails in exports structure, reaching X units, which was near 85% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Kyrgyzstan (X units) and Uzbekistan (X units), together mixing up a 14% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to loudspeaker exports from Kazakhstan stood at +12.4%. At the same time, Uzbekistan (+37.0%) and Kyrgyzstan (+35.1%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Central Asia, with a CAGR of +37.0% from 2012-2021. While the share of Kazakhstan (+16 p.p.), Kyrgyzstan (+7.3 p.p.) and Uzbekistan (+4.2 p.p.) increased significantly, the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) emerged as the largest loudspeaker supplier in Central Asia, comprising 81% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Kyrgyzstan ($X), with a 14% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Kazakhstan stood at -3.3%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Kyrgyzstan (+29.5% per year) and Uzbekistan (+39.9% per year).

Export Prices by Country

In 2021, the export price in Central Asia amounted to $X per unit, with a decrease of -28.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a abrupt slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 an increase of 62% against the previous year. Imports in Central Asia

In 2021, supplies from abroad of single loudspeakers (in enclosure) decreased by -1.1% to X units for the first time since 2016, thus ending a four-year rising trend. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a prominent increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by 186% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units, and then declined in the following year.

In value terms, loudspeaker imports rose sharply to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, recorded a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 311%. The level of import peaked in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Kazakhstan represented the key importing country with an import of about X units, which reached 64% of total imports. Uzbekistan (X units) ranks second in terms of the total imports with a 29% share, followed by Tajikistan (4.9%). Kyrgyzstan (X units) took a relatively small share of total imports.

Imports into Kazakhstan increased at an average annual rate of +8.3% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Uzbekistan (+107.2%), Tajikistan (+37.7%) and Kyrgyzstan (+23.9%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Central Asia, with a CAGR of +107.2% from 2012-2021. Uzbekistan (+29 p.p.) and Tajikistan (+4 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Kazakhstan saw its share reduced by -32.8% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported single loudspeakers (in enclosure) in Central Asia, comprising 89% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Uzbekistan ($X), with a 6.9% share of total imports. It was followed by Tajikistan, with a 2.3% share.
