In 2022, Kazakhstan (X tons) was the major exporter of personal deodorants and anti-perspirants in Central Asia, generating X% of total export.

Kazakhstan was also the fastest-growing in terms of the personal deodorants and anti-perspirants exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022. Kazakhstan (X p.p.) significantly weakened its position in terms of the total exports, while the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) also remains the largest personal anti-perspirants supplier in Central Asia.

Imports in Central Asia

Personal anti-perspirants imports shrank to X tons in 2022, reducing by X% on 2021 figures. Overall, imports, however, recorded a resilient expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, personal anti-perspirants imports dropped to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw strong growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2021, and then fell in the following year.

Imports by Country

Kazakhstan (X tons) and Uzbekistan (X tons) represented roughly X% of total imports in 2022. Turkmenistan (X tons) took the next position in the ranking, followed by Tajikistan (X tons) and Kyrgyzstan (X tons). All these countries together held approx. X% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by Tajikistan (with a CAGR of X%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
