Exports in Central Asia

For the third year in a row, Central Asia recorded growth in overseas shipments of filter blocks, slabs and plates of paper pulp, which increased by X% to X tons in 2022. Overall, exports showed significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, filter block exports reduced rapidly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports saw a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X, and then dropped sharply in the following year.

Kazakhstan represented the major exporting country with an export of around X tons, which finished at X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Kyrgyzstan (X tons), mixing up a X% share of total exports.

Kazakhstan was also the fastest-growing in terms of the filter blocks, slabs and plates of paper pulp exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022.
