The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 80%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2021, and then shrank dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, concentrated pineapple juice imports contracted to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, posted buoyant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 75% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then reduced in the following year.

Imports by Country

Uzbekistan (X tons) and Kazakhstan (X tons) represented the major importers of concentrated pineapple juice in 2022, resulting at near 42% and 41% of total imports, respectively. It was distantly followed by Mongolia (X tons), generating a 16% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Uzbekistan (+6.7%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
