Exports in Central Asia

In 2023, shipments abroad of camping goods increased by X% to X tons, rising for the third consecutive year after three years of decline. In general, exports saw a prominent increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum in 2023 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, camping equipment exports rose rapidly to $X in 2023. Over the period under review, exports enjoyed prominent growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked in 2023 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

Uzbekistan represented the largest exporter of camping goods in Central Asia, with the volume of exports reaching X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2023. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2023, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, camping equipment imports amounted to $X in 2023. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. In 2023, Kazakhstan (X tons) was the largest importer of camping goods, constituting X% of total imports.
