There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2020, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to China ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Sudan, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Sorghum imports into Canada surged to X tonnes in 2020, rising by X% compared with 2019 figures. Over the period under review, total imports indicated a prominent increase from 2007 to 2020: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last thirteen years.
