Belgium (X units) was the main destination for headphone exports from Bulgaria, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, headphone exports to Belgium exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Germany (X units), fourfold. Greece (X units) ranked third in terms of total exports with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2020, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Belgium totaled +X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Germany (+X% per year) and Greece (+X% per year).

In value terms, Belgium ($X) emerged as the key foreign market for headphone exports from Bulgaria, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Greece ($X), with a X% share of total exports. It was followed by Germany, with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2020, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Belgium totaled +X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Greece (+X% per year) and Germany (+X% per year).

The average headphone export price stood at $X per unit in 2020, increasing by X% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded resilient growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when the average export price increased by X% year-to-year. The export price peaked in 2020 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2020, the country with the highest price was Greece ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Slovakia, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2020, supplies from abroad of headphones increased by X% to X units, rising for the second consecutive year after five years of decline. Overall, imports showed moderate growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2008 with an increase of X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X units in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, headphone imports surged to $X in 2020. In general, imports recorded a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2008 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. Imports peaked in 2020 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.
