In 2018, approx. X tonnes of dissolving wood pulp were imported into Bulgaria; increasing by X% against the previous year. In general, dissolving wood pulp imports continue to indicate a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of X% year-to-year. In that year, dissolving wood pulp imports reached their peak of X tonnes. From 2014 to 2018, the growth of dissolving wood pulp imports failed to regain its momentum.

Sweden (X tonnes), Germany (X tonnes) and Canada (X tonnes) were the main suppliers of dissolving wood pulp imports to Bulgaria, together comprising X% of total imports. Greece lagged somewhat behind, accounting for a further X 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of imports, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Greece, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
