In value terms, Romania ($X) remains the key foreign market for cement clinker exports from Bulgaria, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Ukraine ($X), with a X% share of total exports. It was followed by Italy, with a X% share.

Over the period under review, imports showed a prominent increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in years to come.
In value terms, cement clinker imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports showed a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Tunisia ($X per ton), while the price for Turkey ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
