From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Peru (with a CAGR of +14.8%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest markets for soap in bars exported from Brazil were Argentina ($X), Venezuela ($X) and Peru ($X), together accounting for 47% of total exports.
Peru, with a CAGR of +9.3%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, soap in bars imports into Brazil contracted rapidly to X tons, waning by -63.1% against the year before. In general, imports saw a abrupt descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 85%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, soap in bars imports contracted remarkably to $X in 2021. Overall, imports recorded a drastic downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when imports increased by 92% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Malaysia (X tons), China (X tons) and France (X tons) were the main suppliers of soap in bars imports to Brazil, together accounting for 79% of total imports.
