In value terms, gin and geneva imports dropped to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a resilient expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 56% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.

The Netherlands represented the largest importer of gin and geneva in Benelux, with the volume of imports reaching X litres, which was near 52% of total imports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Luxembourg (X litres) and Belgium (X litres), together generating a 48% share of total imports.

In 2022, the import price in Benelux amounted to $X per litre, increasing by 2.2% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 7.1% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per litre. From 2014 to 2022, the import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
