Moreover, Lao People's Democratic Republic emerged as the fastest-growing exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2018. Costa Rica experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Vietnam (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. China prevails in cassava imports structure, amounting to X tons, which was approx. X% of total imports in 2018. South Korea (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

China was also the fastest-growing in terms of the cassava imports, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007 to 2018. South Korea (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. China (+X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the global imports, while South Korea saw its share reduced by -X% from 2007 to 2018, respectively.

In value terms, China ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported cassava into Belize, comprising X% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by South Korea ($X), with a X% share of global imports.
