Public Works Machinery Exports

Exports from Belgium

After three years of growth, shipments abroad of machinery for public works and building decreased by X% to X units in 2022. Overall, exports, however, showed a strong increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by X%. The exports peaked at X units in 2021, and then reduced markedly in the following year.

In value terms, public works machinery exports declined remarkably to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, posted temperate growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. France (X units), Germany (X units) and the Netherlands (X units) were the main destinations of public works machinery exports from Belgium, with a combined X% share of total exports.
