From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Russia totaled +13.0%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the United States (+48.3% per year) and Poland (+11.0% per year).

For the fifth year in a row, Belarus recorded growth in overseas purchases of photographic (other than cinematographic) cameras, which increased by 93% to X tons in 2021. In general, imports showed a slight expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when imports increased by 163% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
In value terms, photo camera imports soared to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports showed a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when imports increased by 217% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In 2021, Russia (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of photo camera to Belarus, with a 84% share of total imports. Moreover, photo camera imports from Russia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, China (X kg), eightfold. Germany (X kg) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 2.2% share.
