The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by 250%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2021, Russia (X tons) was the main supplier of uncoated kraft liner to Azerbaijan, accounting for a 95% share of total imports. Moreover, uncoated kraft liner imports from Russia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Turkey (X tons), more than tenfold.
