Argentina (X tons), Turkey (X tons) and the United States (X tons) were the main destinations of alcohols exports from Azerbaijan, together accounting for X% of total exports. Italy, Romania, the Netherlands and Israel lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.
From 2012 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Romania (with a CAGR of X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In general, imports showed a deep reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then declined notably in the following year.
In value terms, alcohols imports contracted markedly to $X in 2020. Overall, imports recorded a abrupt curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of X%. In 2020, the United States (X tons) constituted the largest alcohols supplier to Azerbaijan, with a X% share of total imports. Moreover, alcohols imports from the United States exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Turkey (X tons), sevenfold.
