In 2022, shipments abroad of knotted carpets and other knotted textile floor coverings decreased by -38.1% to X square meters, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. Over the period under review, exports showed a perceptible shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when exports increased by 55%. The exports peaked at X square meters in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, knotted carpet exports reduced sharply to $X in 2022. In general, exports showed a noticeable shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 31%. The exports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
