As a result, exports attained the peak of $X. from 2012 to 2020, the growth exports failed to regain the momentum.

Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

China (X tonnes), India (X tonnes) and Malaysia (X tonnes) were the main suppliers of sulphur imports to Australia, together accounting for X% of total imports.
From 2007 to 2020, the biggest increases were in China, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest sulphur suppliers to Australia were China ($X), India ($X) and Malaysia ($X), with a combined X% share of total imports.
China saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, in terms of the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2020, the average sulphur import price amounted to $X per tonne, surging by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of X% year-to-year. The import price peaked at $X per tonne in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2020, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin; the country with the highest price was India ($X per tonne), while the price for South Korea ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China, while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
