Exports in Australia and Oceania

In 2022, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in overseas shipments of tanks, casks, drums, cans, boxes and similar containers, when their volume increased by X% to X units. Total exports indicated a modest expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by X%. The volume of export peaked at X units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, container exports reached $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, New Zealand (X units) was the major exporter of tanks, casks, drums, cans, boxes and similar containers, mixing up X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Australia (X units), creating a X% share of total exports.
