After five years of growth, shipments abroad of diesel-electric and other locomotives decreased by X% to X units in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate prominent growth. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
Exports by Country
In 2022, Australia (X units) and Fiji (X units) were the main exporters of diesel-electric and other locomotives in Australia and Oceania, together recording approx. X% of total exports. It was followed by New Zealand (X units), constituting a X% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Fiji (with a CAGR of X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the exports figures.
