Exports from China increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2023. At the same time, Israel (X%), India (X%), Turkey (X%) and Japan (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Israel emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. Malaysia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, South Korea (X%) and Taiwan (Chinese) (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2023, the share of India, China, Israel and Turkey increased by X, X, X and X percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

The total import value increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2023; however, the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2022 to 2023, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

The Philippines represented the largest importing country with an import of around X tons, which finished at X% of total imports. India (X tons) held a X% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Malaysia (X%) and Japan (X%). The following importers - China (X tons), Indonesia (X tons), Thailand (X tons), Vietnam (X tons), South Korea (X tons), Turkey (X tons), Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons), the United Arab Emirates (X tons) and Bangladesh (X tons) - together made up X% of total imports.
