In 2023, the export price in Asia-Pacific amounted to $X per ton, rising by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a noticeable contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2022 an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the export prices hit record highs at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Japan ($X per ton), while China ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by X%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2023, imports remained at a lower figure.

Imports by Country

In 2023, India (X tons) represented the largest importer of stamping foils, creating X% of total imports. Indonesia (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, followed by China (X tons), Malaysia (X tons), Vietnam (X tons), Australia (X tons), Thailand (X tons), Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons) and South Korea (X tons). All these countries together held approx. X% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to stamping foil imports into India stood at X%. From 2015 to 2023, the import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2023, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was China ($X per ton), while Malaysia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
