China dominates exports structure, accounting for X units, which was near 90% of total exports in 2022. Malaysia (X units) and Thailand (X units) took a minor share of total exports.
China was also the fastest-growing in terms of the radio receivers exports, with a CAGR of -2.0% from 2012 to 2022. Malaysia (-7.4%) and Thailand (-9.3%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. China (+14 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Thailand saw its share reduced by -1.6% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest radio receiver supplier in Asia-Pacific, comprising 61% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Malaysia ($X), with an 11% share of total exports.
In China, radio receiver exports decreased by an average annual rate of -2.1% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Malaysia (-7.1% per year) and Thailand (-7.1% per year).
Export Prices by Country
The export price in Asia-Pacific stood at $X per unit in 2022, increasing by 5.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when the export price increased by 15%. Over the period under review, the export prices attained the maximum at $X per unit in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Thailand ($X per unit), while China ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Thailand (+2.5%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the export price figures.

In general, imports, however, showed a deep reduction. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, radio receiver imports rose rapidly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, recorded a abrupt descent. The level of import peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, Hong Kong SAR (X units), distantly followed by India (X units), Japan (X units), Malaysia (X units), Thailand (X units), Australia (X units) and Singapore (X units) represented the key importers of radio receivers, together achieving 81% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for India (with a CAGR of +4.7%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced a decline in the imports figures.
In value terms, the largest radio receiver importing markets in Asia-Pacific were Japan ($X), India ($X) and Malaysia ($X), with a combined 52% share of total imports.
India, with a CAGR of +5.7%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the imports figures.
Import Prices by Country
The import price in Asia-Pacific stood at $X per unit in 2022, which is down by -6.2% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.6%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 13% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Japan ($X per unit), while Hong Kong SAR ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Japan (+4.5%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
