Mixed Juices Exports

Exports in Asia-Pacific

In 2022, mixed juices exports in Asia-Pacific rose modestly to X tons, increasing by X% compared with the previous year's figure. Total exports indicated a strong expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2016 indices. China (X tons), Australia (X tons), Japan (X tons), South Korea (X tons), the Philippines (X tons), New Zealand (X tons), Vietnam (X tons) and Bangladesh (X tons) held a minor share of total exports.

Moreover, Japan emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia-Pacific, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. The Philippines experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, China (X%) and Australia (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Thailand (X p.p.), Nepal (X p.p.), Japan (X p.p.) and South Korea (X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while the Philippines, China and Australia saw its share reduced by X%, X% and X% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a slight setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by X%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, mixed juices imports expanded modestly to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The purchases of the three major importers of mixtures of fruit and vegetable juices, namely the Philippines, Japan and China, represented more than third of total import. South Korea (X tons) held the next position in the ranking, followed by Hong Kong SAR (X tons), Australia (X tons) and Singapore (X tons). All these countries together took near X% share of total imports. The following importers - Lao People's Democratic Republic (X tons), Malaysia (X tons), New Zealand (X tons), Vietnam (X tons), Nepal (X tons) and Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons) - together made up X% of total imports.
