In 2021, approx. X units of loudspeakers (not in enclosure) were exported in Asia-Pacific; increasing by 4.1% against the previous year's figure. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.1% from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 51% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in years to come.

In value terms, non-enclosed loudspeakers exports soared to $X in 2021. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +4.9% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

China represented the main exporter of loudspeakers (not in enclosure) in Asia-Pacific, with the volume of exports recording X units, which was near 58% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Vietnam (X units) and Hong Kong SAR (X units), together comprising a 33% share of total exports. The following exporters - Thailand (X units) and Indonesia (X units) - each reached a 7.4% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to non-enclosed loudspeakers exports from China stood at +2.9%. At the same time, Vietnam (+19.7%), Thailand (+14.9%) and Indonesia (+2.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest non-enclosed loudspeakers supplier in Asia-Pacific, comprising 62% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Vietnam ($X), with a 23% share of total exports. It was followed by Hong Kong SAR, with a 6.5% share.

In China, non-enclosed loudspeakers exports increased at an average annual rate of +5.1% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Vietnam (+17.6% per year) and Hong Kong SAR (-4.4% per year).

Export Prices by Country

The export price in Asia-Pacific stood at $X per unit in 2021, jumping by 18% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2021, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.8%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when the export price increased by 34% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2017 to 2021, the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was China ($X per unit), while Indonesia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

After two years of decline, supplies from abroad of loudspeakers (not in enclosure) increased by 9.7% to X units in 2021. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a perceptible setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 17% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, non-enclosed loudspeakers imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +1.2% over the period from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Imports by Country

In 2021, India (X units), distantly followed by China (X units), Hong Kong SAR (X units), Japan (X units), Vietnam (X units), South Korea (X units) and Thailand (X units) were the main importers of loudspeakers (not in enclosure), together comprising 91% of total imports.
