Gummed Paper Exports

Exports in Asia-Pacific

In 2022, the amount of gummed paper and paperboard (excluding self-adhesives) exported in Asia-Pacific declined to X tons, waning by X% on 2021 figures. In general, exports continue to indicate a mild slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, gummed paper exports declined to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X, and then fell in the following year.

China represented the largest exporting country with an export of around X tons, which reached X% of total exports. India (X tons) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by South Korea (X%) and Japan (X%). China experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of exports of gummed paper and paperboard (excluding self-adhesives).
