Exports in Asia-Pacific

In 2022, shipments abroad of cashew nuts decreased by X% to X tons, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. Over the period under review, exports recorded a pronounced decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, cashew nut exports fell markedly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports showed a deep reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. Indonesia represented the main exporting country with an export of around X tons, which recorded X% of total exports.
