In 2022, shipments abroad of aramids staple increased by X% to X tons, rising for the second year in a row after three years of decline. Total exports indicated a strong increase from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in years to come.
In value terms, aramids staple exports soared to $X in 2022. Total exports indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2020 indices. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, South Korea (X tons), China (X tons) and Thailand (X tons) represented the key exporter of aramids staple in Asia-Pacific, achieving X% of total export. The level of export peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Hong Kong SAR ($X per ton), while Thailand ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to aramids staple imports into China stood at X%. At the same time, Pakistan (X%), India (X%), Taiwan (Chinese) (X%), Japan (X%) and South Korea (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Pakistan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Asia-Pacific, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. Among the main importing countries, Pakistan, with a CAGR of X%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the import price in Asia-Pacific amounted to $X per ton, rising by X% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a slight slump. Over the period under review, import prices hit record highs at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, major importing countries recorded the following prices: in Hong Kong SAR ($X per ton) and South Korea ($X per ton), while Japan ($X per ton) and Pakistan ($X per ton) were amongst the lowest.
