Exports in Asia

For the third year in a row, Asia recorded growth in overseas shipments of optical fibers and bundles, which increased by X% to X tons in 2022. In general, exports recorded buoyant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.

In value terms, optical fiber and bundle exports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports saw a prominent expansion. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Exports by Country

India was the largest exporting country with an export of about X tons, which resulted at X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by China (X tons), generating a X% share of total exports. Japan (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to optical fiber and bundle exports from India stood at X%. At the same time, China (X%) displayed positive paces of growth.
