From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Myanmar (with a CAGR of +49.4%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Turkey ($X), Vietnam ($X) and China ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, with a combined 77% share of total exports. Thailand, India, Hong Kong SAR, Sri Lanka, Iran and Myanmar lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 11%.

Myanmar, with a CAGR of +51.4%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the export price in Asia amounted to $X per ton, surging by 3.7% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern.
