Over the period under review, consumption, however, continues to indicate a prominent expansion. Multiple Loudspeakers Exports

Exports in Asia

After two years of decline, shipments abroad of multiple loudspeakers (in enclosure) increased by 13% to X units in 2021. In general, exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 228% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X units. From 2019 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, multiple loudspeakers exports surged to $X in 2021. Total exports indicated strong growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +7.4% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when exports increased by 27%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Exports by Country

China dominates exports structure, resulting at X units, which was near 86% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Hong Kong SAR (X units), generating a 7.9% share of total exports. Malaysia (X units) held a relatively small share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to multiple loudspeakers exports from China stood at +1.5%. At the same time, Malaysia (+9.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Malaysia emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia, with a CAGR of +9.6% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Hong Kong SAR (-9.9%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of China (+8.7 p.p.) and Malaysia (+2.1 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2021, the share of Hong Kong SAR (-13 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.

In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest multiple loudspeakers supplier in Asia, comprising 78% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Hong Kong SAR ($X), with a 7.8% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in China stood at +8.8%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Hong Kong SAR (-3.5% per year) and Malaysia (+6.0% per year).

Export Prices by Country

The export price in Asia stood at $X per unit in 2021, rising by 4% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a prominent expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 220%. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the maximum at $X per unit in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Malaysia ($X per unit), while China ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+7.2%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the export price figures.

Imports in Asia

In 2021, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in supplies from abroad of multiple loudspeakers (in enclosure), when their volume increased by 12% to X units. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a slight contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 15% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, multiple loudspeakers imports soared to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +3.8% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 22% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Thailand (with a CAGR of +19.3%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Hong Kong SAR ($X), China ($X) and Japan ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2021, with a combined 43% share of total imports. India, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Turkey and Pakistan lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 40%.

The Philippines, with a CAGR of +18.3%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices by Country

In 2021, the import price in Asia amounted to $X per unit, growing by 6.2% against the previous year. Import price indicated a tangible increase from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.9% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, multiple loudspeakers import price increased by +54.7% against 2015 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the import price increased by 10%. The level of import peaked in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was China ($X per unit), while Pakistan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
