Exports in Asia

In 2023, approx. X tons of metal office furniture were exported in Asia; jumping by X% on the previous year's figure. Total exports indicated perceptible growth from 2012 to 2023: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last eleven years. Moreover, Turkey emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. By contrast, Malaysia (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. China (X p.p.) and Turkey (X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Malaysia saw its share reduced by X% from 2012 to 2023, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

Metal office furniture imports expanded markedly to X tons in 2023, with an increase of X% on 2022 figures. Overall, imports, however, recorded a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2023, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, metal office furniture imports shrank slightly to $X in 2023. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a mild decline.
