The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. from 2014 to 2020, the growth imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Imports by Country

In 2020, Taiwan (Chinese) (X units) represented the main importer of helicopters, achieving X% of total imports. Kazakhstan (X units) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Japan (X units). All these countries together took approx. X% share of total imports. The following importers - Armenia (X units), India (X units) and China (X units) - together made up X% of total imports.

The helicopter import price in Asia stood at $X per unit in 2020, which is down by -X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a noticeable reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2008 when the import price increased by X% y-o-y. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2020, import prices failed to regain the momentum.
