Exports in Asia

In 2022, after two years of decline, there was growth in shipments abroad of furniture of plastic, when their volume increased by X% to X units. Overall, exports, however, recorded a abrupt contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, plastic furniture exports expanded sharply to $X in 2022. Total exports indicated a resilient expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

Exports by Country

China was the major exporting country with an export of around X units, which recorded X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Turkey (X units) and Israel (X units), together committing a X% share of total exports. Taiwan (Chinese) (X units), India (X units), the United Arab Emirates (X units) and Vietnam (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Exports from China decreased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. In China, plastic furniture exports expanded at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Israel (X% per year) and Turkey (X% per year).
