As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, crispbread imports totaled $X in 2021. Overall, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 23% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

The Philippines, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Thailand, Kuwait and Kazakhstan lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 36%.

Malaysia, with a CAGR of +34.5%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the import price in Asia amounted to $X per ton, declining by -10.2% against the previous year. In general, the import price continues to indicate a mild decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the import price increased by 24%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per ton.
