These countries were followed by Sri Lanka, Viet Nam and Thailand, which together accounted for a further X 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of coconut production, amongst the main producing countries, was attained by Viet Nam, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In that year, the export prices for coconuts attained their peak level of $X per tonne, and then declined slightly in the following year.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2018, the country with the highest price was Thailand ($X per tonne), while Malaysia ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
