Chemical Wood Pulp Exports

Exports in Asia

For the third year in a row, Asia recorded decline in shipments abroad of chemical wood pulp, which decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. In general, exports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, chemical wood pulp exports soared to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when exports increased by X%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Indonesia dominates exports structure, resulting at X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2022.
