In value terms, wood charcoal imports totaled $X in 2018. In general, wood charcoal imports, however, continue to indicate a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2018, imports failed to regain their momentum.

Imports by Country

In 2018, Paraguay (X tonnes) constituted the largest supplier of wood charcoal to Argentina, with a X% share of total imports. Moreover, wood charcoal imports from Paraguay exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Poland (X tonnes), twofold.
