Monocarboxylic Acid Market Size in Argentina

As a result, export price attained the peak level of $X per tonne. From 2016 to 2020, the growth in terms of the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

Overall, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2012 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tonnes in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2020, imports failed to regain the momentum.

In value terms, monocarboxylic acid imports fell modestly to $X in 2020. In general, total imports indicated a slight expansion from 2007 to 2020: its value increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last thirteen years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2020 figures, imports increased by +X% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2012 when imports increased by X% against the previous year.
