Cote d'Ivoire represented the key exporting country with an export of around X tons, which accounted for X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Mozambique (X tons), Benin (X tons), South Africa (X tons) and Algeria (X tons), together committing a X% share of total exports. Nigeria (X tons) and Cameroon (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Cote d'Ivoire was also the fastest-growing in terms of the walnuts exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Algeria (X%), Benin (X%), Mozambique (X%) and Cameroon (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. By contrast, South Africa (X%) and Nigeria (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. In value terms, walnut imports expanded rapidly to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a significant increase.
