In value terms, non-frozen orange juice exports totaled $X in 2017. The non-frozen orange juice exports continue to indicate a strong growth. The level of exports peaked of $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2017, it stood at a somewhat lower level.

Non-Frozen Orange Juice Exports by Country in Africa

South Africa represented the major exporting country with an export of around X tonnes, which finished at X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Morocco (X tonnes), constituting X% share of total exports. Zimbabwe (X tonnes), Egypt (X tonnes) and Ghana (X tonnes) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Exports from South Africa increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2017. At the same time, Zimbabwe (+X%), Ghana (+X%) and Morocco (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Zimbabwe emerged as the fastest growing exporter in Africa, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2017. Egypt experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. Morocco (-X%), Zimbabwe (-X%) and South Africa (-X%) significantly weakened its position in terms of the global exports, while the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, South Africa ($X) remains the largest non-frozen orange juice supplier in Africa, making up X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Morocco ($X), with a X% share of global exports. It was followed by Zimbabwe, with a X% share.

There were significant differences in the average export prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2017, the country with the highest export price was Egypt ($X per tonne), while Zimbabwe ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of export prices was attained by Morocco (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The imports amounted to X tonnes in 2017, waning by -X% against the previous year. The total import volume increased an average annual rate of +X% over the period from 2007 to 2017; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations over the period under review. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2008, when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the non-frozen orange juice imports attained its maximum volume of X tonnes in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2017, it stood at a somewhat lower level.

In value terms, non-frozen orange juice imports amounted to $X in 2017. The total imports indicated a notable increase from 2007 to 2017: its value increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2017 figures, the non-frozen orange juice imports decreased by -X% against 2012 indices. The level of imports peaked of $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2017, it stood at a somewhat lower level.

From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of imports, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by Swaziland (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest non-frozen orange juice markets worldwide were Algeria ($X), Zimbabwe ($X) and Namibia ($X), with a combined X% share of total imports. These countries were followed by Angola, Botswana, Swaziland, Egypt, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan, Kenya and Mauritania, which together accounted for a further X%.

In terms of the main importing countries , Sudan (+X% per year) recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to imports, over the last decade, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2017, the non-frozen orange juice import price in Africa amounted to $X per tonne, increasing by X% against the previous year. The level of import price peaked of $X per tonne in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2017, it stood at a somewhat lower level.

Import prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest import price was Angola ($X per tonne), while Mauritania ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
