Exports in Africa

In 2022, approx. X tons of spades and shovels were exported in Africa; increasing by X% compared with the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Rwanda represented the main exporter of spades and shovels in Africa, with the volume of exports finishing at X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2022. South Africa (X tons) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Uganda (X%). Tunisia (X tons) took a relatively small share of total exports.
