Printed circuit exports shrank to X units in 2022, falling by X% compared with the previous year. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a pronounced reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, printed circuit exports fell slightly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports saw a mild descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
Exports by Country
Tunisia was the key exporting country with an export of around X units, which accounted for X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by South Africa (X units), creating a X% share of total exports. Morocco (X units) held a little share of total exports.
Exports from Tunisia decreased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, South Africa (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, South Africa emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Africa, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Morocco (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
