In 2022, overseas shipments of plastic parts for lamps and lighting fittings increased by X% to X tons, rising for the second year in a row after four years of decline. In general, exports posted resilient growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, lamp plastic parts exports surged to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a strong increase. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

South Africa dominates exports structure, accounting for X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2022. Morocco (X tons) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Tunisia (X%).
