Exports in Africa

In 2022, shipments abroad of o-xylene decreased by X% to X tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons, and then contracted remarkably in the following year.

In value terms, o-xylene exports soared to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, posted measured growth.
