Exports in Africa

In 2022, approx. X tons of milk were exported in Africa; falling by X% against the year before. Overall, exports recorded a abrupt setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, milk exports shrank to $X in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a dramatic downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Exports by Country

South Africa (X tons) and Uganda (X tons) represented the largest exporters of milk in 2022, reaching approx. X% and X% of total exports, respectively.
