Exports in Africa

In 2022, overseas shipments of corrugated paper and paperboard increased by X% to X tons, rising for the second consecutive year after four years of decline. Overall, exports saw a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, corrugated paper exports soared to $X in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of X%. Exports by Country

Morocco represented the key exporting country with an export of around X tons, which reached X% of total exports. Zimbabwe (X tons) held a X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by South Africa (X%) and Tunisia (X%). Cote d'Ivoire (X tons) and Algeria (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to corrugated paper exports from Morocco stood at X%.
